While I'm spying for banners from my phone, I noticed a lot of default banners/creatives being used. By default banners I mean the ones provided on the affiliate network.
My question is, why do these people use default ones instead of creating originals? or is it only for testing purposes? Is it recommended to use default banners for testing offers?

Its most probably not other affs running those but the advertiser themselves. Its highly recommended to come up with your own banners.
definitely do not recommend using affiliate network's banners
i also wonder why there are people who use them though... may it's like deondup said, it's the advertisers themselves
Yeah can confirm, odds are very slim profiting with the banners the advertisers provide.
In all these years doing AM never seen any decent ones that would convert well.
