I'm bidding like $50+ cpm on a DSP.. getting a tiny amount of traffic. The placements I'm bidding on are supposed to have a 100k+ daily impressions!
I also found that I get traffic from certain placements on one DSP but 0 on another one. What's that all about? Don't they have the same supply?
What's the best thing to do here?
Let the campaign run and wait for other advertisers to switch off or find another ad network that is direct with pubs?
Run a different offer in a different GEO?
At $50 CPM it's probably not a bid problem...
Are you sure those placements have that much traffic within your targeting specs? If in doubt, talk to the DSP. They will be able to investigate more closely.
Not all DSPs have access to the same inventory - it depends on the exchanges they plug into and within that I imagine there are some more complex interactions e.g. private placements.
