Flash Banners (4)
I am seeing a lot of flash banners floating around the web, especially for gaming offers.
How would you go and create one? Is there a specific software I will need to use or can I do it on Photoshop?
Or maybe just outsource it and that's it?
strange there isn't a lot of threads on this topic.
Making Flash banners is another game entirely... way too much effort compared to simple Photoshop work or making some simple animations.
http://html5maker.com/ is OK and let's you export as FLV but I would really outsource this kind of design - IMO the time
utput ratio is just far too low to be worth it!
It seems that way, but I saw some really awesome banners for the same offer I'm promoting that was in flash and they were really amazing. It made me want to click on it. serious. I made mine ugly in purpose to stand out but i wonder what kind of CTR I ca have with this kind of banners.
You don't use any kind of flash banners? You don't even outsource it?
Nah I don't use em right now.
Flash is only appropriate in certain situations anyway, mainly desktop display traffic.
There are issues with trying to use flash on mobile devices and you should focus on HTML5 instead.
