Hi Guys, been reading some facebook stuff over here, just wanted to know what's your opinion on Facebook for 2015?
what are the chances of affiliates markerters promoting offers on FB without getting accounts banned?.. are they only getting stronger?
would love to hear your thoughts
regards
Hi Guillermo, I m still a newbie and recently started with Facebook. Thought to chip in since I came across this very interesting post in STM yesterday...

And I had also came across a few sources that mentioned, Facebook don't hate affiliates, it's just how u execute it. Well, the post above confirms it.
I am just running gaming at the moment, hope I will never encounter that problem. But from my recent newbie experience there, the CPC are kinda high and not easy to be profitable. Maybe I still have not tested wide and deep enough or maybe it's Christmas season, not sure.
How about u?
Hey Guillermo, I'm new into the CPA affiliate marketing and Facebook. From what I have gathered is that the major change for 2015 is the change on organic traffic from Newsfeed. This means that the organic traffic in newsfeed will be tremendously affected come January 2015, this is done to prevent very "salesy promotional posts" that are affiliate oriented other than focused on improving the user experience. The main mission of Facebook is to ensure 'sanity' on user experience. They place premium level of attention to that.
Accounts are often banned due to violation of Facebook's Terms of Service which are usually broad and ambiguous, so in a nutshell just abide by Facebook practices and you will great. Find out which offers/verticals are appropriate to be promoted in Facebook, as this will largely prevent your account from banned without notice.
Hope that helps
Id stay away from facebook and focus on mobile. Experts said it is set to double in the next few years so now is the right time to start. You are not late!
Mobile on Facebook is huge though, but more expensive than display traffic on RTB-based DSPs.
However, Facebook is very different to these. User mindset, targeting, etc. - it's all different, so one is no better than the other.
At least on other platforms you won't have to worry so much about getting banned.
Nice shares .. appreciate them all
Guillermo, no matter what ad platform you start advertising on, just make sure you don't jump around and master it. You can do Facebook but it definitely takes time and money to experiment it. Most people like Facebook because of its scalability - as you can buy sooooo much traffic...
