Hey Stackers, Im at a point where we are trying to setup a call center for qualifying leads. Trying to step it up and be able to monetize leads in order to potentially sell off to more than one advertiser. Any advice? I do have alot of experience with Phillipino outsourcing which is a mega callcenter hub, so this will come in handy Im sure. In fact, I even interviewed a bunch of people just for kicks to gauge potential employees, theres no shortage of call center workforce. I would even start remote for very short term and setup shop physically if it looks promising.
Problem is, I have no hardware, software, compliance rule, scripts or "experience" in general. And theres the vast ocean of data, where to obtain real data that is fresh...Tier 1, 2, 3, data where to find leads in order to try and qualify. I was thinking we'd use our own paid traffic methods at first, but I know theres a world of data brokering out there, which would be helpful to somehow get my foot in the door. Anyone doing something similar that can lend some advice or perhaps even collaborate.. Im all ears. Thanks

We will be setting up a call centre operation in India and potentially the Philippines in 2015. As for best practices on software, hardware, call centre management, there are a number of industry conferences that you should probably go to in order to scope out the players, including a big one held by salesforce.com every year.
If you are working on EU activity, though you need to be very careful that you comply with the EU Data protection initiative guidelines on who handles EU personal data.
