Hi,
so I'm running mid xxx rev/day to 2 offers each, I asked my AM for bumps, one time for each offer. and he gives me very low bumps, I'm talking 5% and 2.5% increase. He gave me the same bump regardless if offer payout, seems like it was almost arbitrary number.
Am I asking him the wrong way?
I said today we hit x conversions, could you please give me your best pay bump so we'll hit 1.5x conversions?
It seems like I need to change manager right? I also got turned down with "but that's the highest payout we pay our affiliates for this offer".
On another network I got 10% bump for similar rev, didn't even have to ask.
If so, how do you change manager? do you ask him?
Thank you, any reply is appreciated
Shop yourself around other networks.
If the bump is from the network margin, they obviously have a certain limit depending on how low of a cut they are willing to take.
If you already ran a bit of volume, I'd specifically ask your AM to have a quality check with the advertiser and ask for a higher payout.
IMO the bumps you are really looking for are the ones that come from the advertiser checking quality > giving feedback > will pay more for your leads.
If your leads are crap then things won't last long anyway and getting bumps within the network margin won't help much.
As cmdeal said, you should shop around. I routinely see one network offer $0.70 and another off $1.00 which is a huge relative difference - some networks are just terrible with setting their street payouts far too low as if their affiliates don't look around.
Always make sure to run the same offer across different networks.
Check which one generates the highest EPCs and tell the other network with the lower one.
This way they will be fighting for your traffic and you will get the highest payout possible.
Do bbrock32's step first.
If you feel the manager isnt right for you, just ask the network manager for a switch. A good network will be happy to switch you. Not everyone can work together and that's just fine.
