Which of the following methods are the cheapest way to start with AM paid traffic?
Mobile, Adult, Facebook or Pof?
I dont mind about small profits just want to get experience and understanding first before divining into campaigns which are more complex or competitive.

Well, if you are looking for cheap traffic then it's more about the country you're targeting - though you can rule Facebook out as being cheap, and PoF has T1 geos so that limits pricing.
If you want very cheap traffic then go for mobile (adult included) in T2/T3 countries where CPMs are low and you can get substantial testing done for <$50.

FCP Traffic
Choker Traffic
AVA traffic
..all these are T2/T3 for ALL countries. AKA shittier traffic in general (but also cheaper)
If you're looking for generic adult traffic for t2/t3 countries, then any source will do!

Keep the traffic sources (pops/direct nav) and just change the vertical.
E.g. sweeps, mobile content offers, mobile games etc. on ZeroPark.

I would use Zeropark. Those ones stack mentioned are primarily adult I believe.
I agree with Mr Zeno. Zeropark is a good choice...U can try.
