What is the best way to build up an email list? (3)

I had a few questions about email list building as was wondering if you could leave some feedback.

This is a website I am working on http://bethleahnutrition.com

We are trying to build up authority and simultaneously build up the email list for eventual product promotion. We currently get anywhere from 1-7 subscribers per day but this growth is really slow.

For those email experts out there for a blog like this how would you go about building an email list?

You will need to pay for the traffic if you need to build your list fast.

USE PPV, PPC, email ad networks (cpm basis) and direct media buys to buy traffic. I like the last option better. It's harder to find but brings quality leads at low cost. Find websites in women demo. Example: gossip, recipe, baby sites, etc. Ask them if they have an email list. If they do, then they must also be emailing to their list already. Ask them if you can advertise in their newsletter either by cpm, cpc or by CPL basis. I would not suggest you to send the paid traffic to your blog. Instead create a landing page, collect name and email on the page and send traffic to this landing page to collect leads.
