No Skills For Banners and Landing Pages, What to do?

Hi All,

I would like to ask what I should do if I have no skills at all for banners and landing Pages? I guess I have to learn it since outsourcing would be very expensive, especially when I want to test so many variations, unless you can recommend a tool which does this for me?

Would leadpages be a good option? Especially for mobile? Or are there other options where I can create as many landing pages as I want?

What about banners? Any service you can recommend?

If I have to learn it myself how to do it, can you recommend me a guidance here on the forum or some products I can buy to learn it?

Thank you!

Cheers,
Leon

Thank you Qureyoon, but the landers cost USD 40.-- which is very expensive, imagine I am going to do many variations of landers, how do I learn it the best way? What tools do I need for that? Any source you can recommend?

In that case, try to learn from these:

And post along your questions as you progress.

Look up in google, there should be a lot of how to code a simple lander.

Try afflanders.com as well.

In the end you'll absolutely have to learn some Photoshop skills - it really is a huge disadvantage to have to initially outsource all creative work due to lack of skill on your end, rather than lack of time.

Hi Zeno and qureyoon ,

Thank you for your replies guys!

Zeno, I checked the afflanders.com the prices seem to be ok for a beginner at least, I am sorry for the beginner question, do I still need a dedicated server with that service or are the self hosting that? My understanding is that the loading time of the landers is a very important factor so I dont know if that is really smart if they do a self hosting if the loading time is very slow. Also, do you know if these landers work for mobile as well?

Photoshop just for banners or do you use this tool for landers as well?

Thank you!
Leon

Those landers are likely for desktop rather than mobile - they look more PPV appropriate.

You can export them and host the on your server. Self-hosting isn't inherently slow, what matters is having a server close to the user. Running traffic from New Zealand to a US-based VPS is going to result in a few people dropping off due to delays and slow load times.

A VPS in the US serving US users will be fine, and even when you go to e.g. Western Europe, this may suffice though you will want static assets like images on a CDN.

If the landers from afflanders have no PHP in them - only html/css/js, then you can put them on a CDN entirely! (so not on your own server).

Regarding Photoshop, it's mainly for banners. If you make landers in it then it's usually to hand the image off to a designer to turn into a real page. Photoshop makes images and compositions, it is not designed to generate any HTML. There are some plugins that let you export/copy CSS for buttons and such, but that's just handy to use in conjuction with a program specifically for page design.

Adsbridge.com, then rip the page it creates.
