We see a big problem for the last 2 days:
All the launched campaigns (mobile NF app installs) for the last 2 days have huuuge discrepancies. 1 campaign for example:
FB shows 600 website clicks ($40) and Imobitrax shows only 130 clicks delivered. Same with our all new launched campaigns.
When we start a campaign FB sees that its an app install and shows the rating and default headline etc (we use website clicks). I guess in this way it cuts our tracker and affiliate links. So we started to turn Meta refresh on in tracker. In this way FB do not see that it is an app install, but along with that it does not show us as an Ad in preview. After that we launch and see this discrepancies.
We did not have such problems like 2 weeks ago and it worked even without Meta refresh. And yeah we still get clicks every hour, but 10 times less, that FB says.
Any thoughts?
I've had an issue where they were prompting users after hitting my ad something like 'Users marked this as spam' and something about continuing or going back.. Here's an example http://i.imgur.com/7TLspeS.png
You should try to preview the ad, and click through to see if this is happening.. Though it's not very likely, I just mentioned this on skype 2 days ago and this happened to be someone elses issue as well
Thanks faesthetic, but its not the case. We just checked and clicked the ads (both web and mobile), everything seems fine.
We now decided to to make a landing page and check if there will be the same discrepancies with LP, campaigns before were DL (tracker-affiliate link-appstore). I'll update you with results. If any ideas how to find the problem - you are welcome.
It's very common issue with FB and you could also see click discrepancies with direct tracking links.
Remember that if your bidding type is for website clicks, Facebook counts a "like" and a "share" as a click. These obviously won't show up in your imobitrax stats unless the user clicks through on your ad, yet they are reported as clicks in your ad manager. You could bid CPM to avoid this.
I've seen this before and it's definitely the "spam" thing previous people mentioned.
You probably should get a new tracking URL
