Should I try Affiliate marketing? Or should I stick to whats working?

Hey guys! As some of you might know I am new on this forum. But I do have some knowledge on internet marketing and I run a small web design business here in the London UK. I am a bit on the wall whether I should spend time and invest in affiliate marketing or just scale up my web design business.

WEB DESIGN BUSINESS : I currently turn over £3000 per month from this and I expect it to go to 4-5k per month by early next year. I usually get a 100% on ad spend. (designing the websites myself).

Now the thing is I also got a partner who owns 50% of the company. So that is why i am thinking about should I scale this? or try affiliate marketing where I make all the money

If i plan on scaling this I think by mid of next year I can brink it to £10,000 per month in revenue.

AFFILIATE MARKETING :

If i plan on going ahead with this, there is a bit of a learning curve with mobile and also a considerable investment of time and money in testing campaigns.

So my question is: Do I stick with what's working? Or should I try Affiliate Marketing?

When you answer please can you list the pros and cons. Thanks. (example: to scale a web design business I will need more staff to design websites)

if you can scale your biz 300% to 10k/month, then I would stick with that, if you enjoy what you are doing......

You can always try affiliate marketing on the side. But with aff marketing, you will need to allocate a decent testing budget and plenty of time and patience.

But, why do you want to get into affiliate marketing? If its something you have a passion for, then go for it. But if you want to dedicate yourself to it 100%, then you will need to have some savings and be able to run at a loss for several months.

If I were you, I would start one or two campaigns now and get a feel for it....

If i were you i would do affiliate marketing on your free time beside your web design business. 10k/month is a nice income but you can do much more than that...
The question is, what is your goal? Your dreams?
You need a decent budget, otherwise you will make bad decisions (pause campaigns too soon after $$ loss even if you don't have enough data) Maybe 2h later you have 100%roi...
If you know there is some money coming in each month, it's a lot easier to follow your testing plan!

I did that 1 1/2 years before i quit my day job to do affiliate marketing full time...

Hi Kaltera Thanks for your help.Yes I think what you are saying is right... I am going to concentrate on getting my web design business to 10k per month ad the I will be a bit relaxed cause there is some money coming in which will allow me to test campaigns.
