hey everyone,
so when u r testing angles...
do u just change the headline in the lp n let the body copy be generic?
or do u try to make the whole copy appeal to the angle for the landing page?
i ask becuz if u try to com up w/ copy for the landing page n
make it appeal to the angle.
that would be alot of work without even knowing if its going to convert.
for instance...
if i was pushing 4 asian angles...
chinese, japanese, korean, vietnamese...
u would hav to study each group as to why man like them.
that would take a lot of time researching benefits of each angle....
is this wat all the successful ppl r doing?
or do u just change the headline?
how hard do u focus on the copy when u r just testing angles?
thx,
also feel free to link me to other post related to this...
It's a classic case of split-testing.
Split test headline change only vs headline change + tailored body copy.
Their will undoubtedly be interactions between these variables that influence conversion rate.
You'll have to put the work in for the body copy, no two ways about it. If it takes hours of research, chances are it's something lazy affiliates aren't doing = a competitive edge for you.
After running campaigns for many years i find the copy to usually be the most important aspect of the campaign. The "angle" should be directly translated in your copy. Then build the rest of the page around the copy.
In short: Copy 1st, everything else 2nd.
