Does the Size of the Site Matter for Adwords?

When doing SEO, we always try to get 20-30 pages of content on the site so that the site isnt a thin affiliate site. Does this matter for adwords?

I am doing a comparison type of site with reviews so in total with About me, privacy policy and all that, I am looking at 15 pages. Is that going to have an affect on QS? All traffic is going to be run to a single LP. The rest of the pages are just supporting content and articles.

Thanks

Yes it does matter for Adwords, 15 pages is a good amount. However, as you probably know, the main driver for QS is CTR.

You need to get a good CTR straight out of the gate. Definitely above 1%, more likely 5%+ or ideally 10%+.

You say it matters. In what way? Is there a number of pages not to go below? The guys doing pay per call with mobile landers seem to get away with one page sites.

It matters in the same way it does for seo, more pages with related content equals more relevancy. Yes you can put a one page site (I do this to test offers) plus T&C's, privacy and contact but a site with more relevant content will get a better QS.

Adwords really doesn't require a large site like SEO. If you have "services" 5 pages will do fine sometimes even 3 depending on the type of site your advertising.
QS is based on the ads, landing page and keywords. the better your ads are at auction (relevant) the lower prices are for ad positions.
Make sure when using adwords, your lander matches up with your ad and keywords chosen; this gives you the best advantage.
Always test....cant stress enough.

QS is based on the ads, landing page and keywords.
+CTR, which is the most important element.

The size of the site can be 5 pages or more for search and display. Mobile you can get away usually with a little less but they will catch up sooner or later with a change there. It always happens. Like the others said, CTR is very important. But, even more important is relevance. Making sure you have tightly focused adgroups with your keywords, ads, and landing pages all tying in together with the same theme of keywords. That's how they calculate the QS. It usually ends up helping your conversion rates too. So, really doing it their way helps you more than hurts you. Then, just test test test.
