Mobile Traffic Source For Dating Niche (7)
Started with POF, getting profitable. Want to bring in mobile traffic now for dating.
Any recommendation on a mobile traffic source to try ?

By "POF-equivalent" do you mean a mobile traffic source that has all the same targeting capabilities as POF? Or a Mobile traffic source exclusively for mainstream dating? Or both haha
Haha yep need to know that first ^ There is really no comparisons to POF ease of hyper targeting ability, besides maybe facebook or mochimedia (Gaming network on same platform as POF) haha
We have access to demographic data from various 3rd parties (age, gender etc). It massively limits volume, but can be a good start

Currently the challenge is in the amount that hyper targeting limits traffic, as adivity stated. Aside from that, there aren't many apps or mobile sites (aside from dating ones) that require that much information from the user to use (doing so would greatly limit the mass-appeal of using the app/wap as most users want simple quick distraction by using their phone instead of inputing massive amounts of information about themselves-Developers build/market accordingly). AND, not many dating apps/waps want to promote other dating apps/waps that will take their business.
They key to mobile dating, therefore, seems to be heavily dependent on the offer itself. Unless you already know the age/demographic of your traffic makeup and can market accordingly, a mobile dating offer with tons of age/gender restrictions is going to be very difficult to get profitable off the bat.
One option that I've seen work (though it requires a bit of time and effort) is to build a solid lander that has ages 18-25 go to one offer, 25-30 to another, 30-40, 40-50, 50+. Advertisers pay way more for higher ages.
Running something like that will allow you to get data and find more out about the age/demo makeup of the traffic (using a good tracker of course).
Yea its a lot of work, but this will allow you to buy tons of traffic and if your ads are good and your lander is legit, you will monetize all ages in that traffic instead of just one and that should help your ROI.
Where I've seen mobile offers fail is when someone tries to run an offer that only allows males 30+ on its own and buys traffic in bulk. This means that they could be sending tons of leads in that are 18-19 yo that they wont get paid for. Or the opposite, they could be sending 30 year olds to an 18+ offer that they could be getting double the CPA for. 
This concept works for all dating offers actually.
Sorry for the tangent--long story short, no... I don't think there is anything that is like POF for mobile
