Professional Proofreading To Make Sure Your Landers And Banners Are Perfect

Hey guys,

I'm an affiliate on a sabbatical from the world of conversions and offers. Right now I'm focusing on my proofreading and editing skills, and those skills are what I'm offering to STM – and to you.

I've been working as an editor and proofreader for years now. I'm an associate of the Society of Editors and Proofreaders. I've worked with a variety of people from one of the UK's top coffee companies to a best-selling author.

I KNOW how important well-written and correct copy is for ads and landers. It can increase your conversion rates and make you more $$$. I also know that as affiliates we are normally pretty specific with exactly what message we're aiming to get across to, or at least test on, our audience.

I also know that you might not check your ad and lander copy as carefully as you perhaps should. That's okay! Maybe you don't have time. Maybe you write so much copy it's just too much and it all blurs into one. Maybe English isn't your first language.

So let me help you. For $5 per 10 banner texts and $5 each for short landers (up to 100 words – contact me to discuss longer landers), I'll check your copy. I'll correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax. After I'm done it'll look more professional (or more professionally amateur, if amateur's what you're going for). It'll make your lander more credible, more trustworthy, and more engaging to your visitors.

I'll check with you before changing particular wording though, such as CTA words, in case they're a variable in your AM testing. Heck, if you like, I'll even suggest ways to re-word your copy to make it come alive and get customers clicking.

Not looking to hi-jack OP's thread but I could hand the 4000 word text over to a guy who's working for me and he'd do it for around 130-150 EUR He offers paraphrasing as well. OP might have a better price for you though!

Just to chime in, I can say that the Ninja Hedgehog is reputable.

Maybe not on the ninja front. Or on being a hedgehog. But on the English front.

Hey Mr Green!

I can offer you either of the following options for the 4k (words, right?) children's book:

a) €50 for:

Thorough proofreading – corrections for spelling, grammar, syntax and common misspellings of internationally different words;
Continuity checks for the book's internal style;
Looking out for larger issues; and
Second read through to double-check all of the above.

b) €75 for:

All of the above;
Larger scale editing/structural changes - e.g. any rearranging of paragraphs to improve overall flow; and
Suggestions and feedback on personal style to improve future articles/writing.

These prices are based on my standard rates per 1k words.

Howdy folks!

Just wanted to post a quick update. I had a blast working with Mr Green to proofread his project just before Christmas (and I must say that was an epic read). Since then I've proofread and edited a book about swordfighting – actual, safe swordfighting practices based on medieval techniques – and that was really cool.

Right now I have space to take on more proofreading work. So I'm throwing the doors open to you and STM again!

Do you have anything you would like proofread to make the English in it sparkle?

I'm thinking banners or landing pages might be a favourite here, but if you've got side projects – a book, perhaps, or a research paper – then I'm happy to proofread those, too! Or maybe you've got something written brewing with STM: London coming up?
