Millennial Media vs mMedia?

Stupid question... What is the difference between them?
Because I see them are as one company

What makes me confuse is I can register to millennial media and buy traffic from there too

mMedia is just their self-serve DSP that you can use.

There is also their ad exchange (MMX) but I'm not sure of the specifics with that and any managed campaign stuff they do. In the end, the mMedia DSP is where you'll invariably start.

Trying to start a camp on mMedia and minimum CPMs are $2.00 for all countries. Yes I am a newbie, but looking at my successful campaigns, there is no way I could have come close to profit with those CPMs.

What am I missing?

Millennial Media has their own network and are well known for high quality traffic.

$2 CPM may seem high for traffic from countries where you're used to getting it for $0.20, but it all depends on how well the traffic converts.

Yes, but the will not take AMEX anymore through Jumptap, at least not for new advertisers. And they told me mmedia users get served before jumptap users as they want the jumptap users to start logging into mmedia.
