I'm excited to announce our latest game changing project that STM has been working on with The Angry Russian, Fernando and the 317 film crew.

It's called "The Angle".

Here is a little teaser:



It will be THE World's First Affiliate Marketing Documentary.

The Angle: How a bunch of ballsy 20 year old misfits completely revolutionized marketing.

It's the story of the rise of online marketing as told by insiders who made and lost fortunes. It follows larger than life characters who used developments in technology, gaps in the law, and their insights into human nature to promote products and make millions through online marketing by the time they were 25. A kind of mercenary marketing army, these revolutionaries bought and sold advertising on a scale never before seen, and in the process, transformed the way whole industries reach consumers, while validating radical economic theories that ultimately led to a Nobel prize. Their stories reveal intense ambitions, lifestyle extremes, and a common desire to escape the bonds of wage serfdom.

We will be travelling around the world to film and interview STMers in their natural habitats....

In other words, you have 1 year to grind hard. This will cause a boom just like Chris Moneymaker did when he won the World Series of Poker in 2003. "If he can do it, so can I!"
The gurus will benefit a lot though. Instead of going head to head I might just start making my own biz opps to feed the noobs

ROLF at all of you worried about competition and rising price in traffic!

Understand the more people in our industry and space the better for the long run. It is a natural evolution of things. We should be growing the entire affiliate space instead of worrying about new entrants. More people in our industry will mean things like...

- MORE traffic sources... some of your favorite platforms were built by affiliates
- Better tracking and tools ... same as above, who builds tracking best
- Better and higher converting offers... as the industry grows we will get more advertisers who get performance marketing
- More networking and talent pool to partner with

Looks awesome. Where is this thing going to be released? STM/Affiliate Circles or mass audiences like netflix?

I'm not worrying about increased competition. The kind of people who get hyped up and make life changing decisions from a movie are the same type of people who do a half-assed attempt at 1 offer and decide its bullshit.

I dont believe it will increase competition..

I the low res sometimes just one fucking bidder can ruined things..

But in the overall competition.. slim to no chances..

lets face it 99.9% of people in the world online affiliate will not work for them even for the short run..

I have few friends who tried open startup without success, I told them guys you must try affiliate, you can make tons of money..
I told them how well I was doing and offer to guide them for free, and gave them very good stuff to read

Non of them actually read the stuff I gave them

They are young, males who tried before online ventures,
who want to be rich, so they are very good fit for the profile
and still zero action

and even if they will read most chances will not take action
and if they take action most will fail..

However its well known facts that it is can be done..

I think if you will show real stats then people will believe more and more chances they will give it a try..

Not sure what are your goals.. if you will do this move well STM can be grow significatley..

Damn, I was hoping it would come out. I wonder if there is any type of documentary besides this attempt at one that was made about affiliate marketing at all? I guess they try to keep this real secretive.
