I've followed Zeno's video tutorial for tracking with Decisive and Voluum. I am trying to get tracking set up for an offer with A2Ads which uses Cake. I'm having an issue where my click id doesn't seem to be tracking correctly.

This is what I see when I check the click report in A2Ads:



There are many duplicate clicks because I've been trying to fix the issue. Like the video, I was expecting to see a click ID in the s5 column.

I have my offer setup in Voluum as: http://a2trk.com/?a=40226&c=2629&s1={campaign.id}&s5={clickid}

I have tried to enter in my own random click ID for the {{{bidhash}}} value in the tracking link that Voluum gives me, but it doesn't pass through and show up on my A2Ads.

Also, I am using a lander.

That's a good post, but after a quick read-through it looks like its pretty similar to the video tutorial from Zeno, which I followed.

I believe the problem lies in my landing page...I'll look into it further. I created a test direct linking campaign in Voluum, and my click report on A2ads reflects a valid click id:

Sooooo...the problem was with my landing page click URL. Somehow I screwed that up when I created my page. Fixed now, and tracking is working as it should. I'm pretty sure posting the thread helped me to figure out my problem, so thanks for listening!

Yep, problem would have been that you had a manual A2ads link as your CTA URL, rather than using the Voluum click URL to send users back to Voluum for tracking and redirection :-)

Moving forward, remember to use that click URL for every lander (highly convenient!).
