It is (was?) Amit Mehta's software company
BTW the products won some awards too

probably the promotion tactics are the real culprits

Man I remember Amit from back when I was starting out. He had his blog at http://www.superaffiliatemindset.com/.
The promotional tactics, product, and service were all crap. It was just an upsell, that lead to another upsell all sold through false claims.

Just curious, would you really consider him a "super affiliate"?
Pretty crazy to read about the FTC going after him, I thought Boost Software was a money idea for an offer... I saw value in some of his old posts regardless, some great Adwords guides and tips, but I know some big affiliates don't like him.

I don't know him personally, nor do I know what volume he did run as an affiliate. So I would just call him Amit

Amit was actually my biggest inspiration when I first started out. I found a lot of his mindset and adwords tips useful.
A large part of the community didn't like him because every other post was a brag post (just bought this, just bought that, etc.)
Anyways, I remembered this post of his and found it ironic.

"And what’s cool is I’m making a positive impact on the world doing what I’m doing (as apposed to all the spammers and black hat affiliate in our industry who are selling people acai berry pills using fake blogs – that’s the type of greed that should be rightfully condemned)."
