SOI vs DOI

Question: What's the difference in conversion numbers in SOI vs DOI DATING campaigns ? Should we expect to see a lot lower conversion rates on DOI campaigns than on SOI ?

Thanks.

Yes, they should invariably always convert at a lower % due to, all else being equal, the user having to take more actions to generate a conversion.

Keep in mind there is no "SOI is better than DOI."

They pay different.
They convert different.

Just keep it simple. Always split test and see which one generates more revenue.

Yes as Dr.Ngo said it's all about the EPCs. Nothing else matters.

From my experience SOIs tend to convert 30-40% better but also have lower payouts.

At the end of the day all it matters is conversions to sales. You can run SOI / DOI or whatever but if traffic won't back up for the advertiser you will get kicked
out of the offer no matter what.

Good DOI offer will convert 60-65% of the initial email submits, I have this confirmed from several offer owners and affiliate managers as well as with my own testing. So in theory, it should be easy math. Unfortunatelly, some DOIs today employ silly extra steps beyond just waiting for the email confirmation. The most retarded one I have seen lately was a DOI offer that required the member to confirm email, fill out the profile and even upload a profile photo that the admins had to verify. The offer paid insanely high rate per lead but as you can guess it didnt convert for shit. So it really always comes down to testing.

DOI's tend to lead to better quality for the advertiser too, you can hit the boot quite quickly on SOI's if its not backing out.

But always, one of the 10 commandments of affiliate marketing. TEST TEST TEST

as this is the "What does *** mean" thread, I'm going to put up my hand:
What is this "SOI", what does it stand for?
And "DOI"?
