Disadvantages of Microsoft Paint?
Call me a bit old fashioned but at the moment i've only been using Microsoft paint to create my banners as i've had a lot of experience with it.
I've tried both Photoshop and Paint.net and couldn't get comfortable with them, Paint however just works for me.
Are there any disadvantages i might be at here over using Photoshop or paint.net?

its like comparing a Ferrari with a shopping cart
first time using photoshop, I had the same feeling. but really, it doesnt take to long to get the feel of photoshop
can be a bit overwhelming at the start. id recommend just following some simple specific tutorials to get the "feel" of it

Invest in basic skills, it pays off in the future. There are boat loads of tutorials on Youtube, you should also learn how to make little Gifs as well. It will only take you an afternoon to learn what you need to make $$$.

I was in the same boat.
Photoshop is something you need to learn before you can learn AM.
Bite the bullet.

I'm recently switching to Sketch for Mac. Is pretty great and specific for UI...it's proving to be quite great for banners, landers mockups, etc.

It's a little bit like trying to write a novel on Notepad. I guess you
could do it, but why?
