I've got a campaign running on a network and I wanted to start another campaign very similar to the 1st campaign but only it targets more broadly.
The 2nd (broader, higher budget) campaign has been running for 3 days with 0 impressions.
As a test, I unpaused the first campaign (that has a history or clicks/traffic) and it got impressions right away.
Everything is basically the same about these campaigns but 1 seems to be favored by the network and the other won't even get a sniff. I even increased the CPC of the 2nd campaign - still 0 impressions. Like its being completely ignored.
Have any of you had this happen before? The network isn't being any help on the matter.
(network is Leadbolt)
All creatives approved?
What specific targeting parameters did you change?
hey smithj ,
I worked on leadbolt before, firstly you should confirm that the 2nd campaign is approved, the leadbolt is a real-time bidding platform, so it's likely to compete with yourself if you setup two similar offers at the almost the same cpc, so unless you take turns these two campaigns.
@zeno - yes both campaigns are approved & creatives are approved.
@tiger_haha I realize I'd be competing with myself, but I'm testing 2 diff angles.
My rep there said there's a chance that I launched the campaign during a low volume period and it just never got picked up (and continued to not get picked up????). So yesterday as a test I copied/relaunched another campaign at 5pm in the target geo and the campaign fired right up. So maybe launching at high volume times of day is important on LB. Or maybe this particular campaign that isn't working is just a glitch.
Sounds like a glitch, no network has campaign delivery cycles that would allow a campaign to sit idle for over 3 days.
