WANTED: Business Partner to make it BIG in Mobile

Hi, a few of you may have followed my until now pretty standard journey into AM noobie heaven.

A lot of what I read from the guys that are successful in AM is have a business partner. So I'm going to look for one!

I'm going to give a brief overview of me then the sort of person I think will be complementary.

ME:

- 31 year old (ouch how did that happen?!) guy with family.
- London based
- AM experience slightly random. Was an aff manager in gambling for a while and currently working as an online marketing manager.
- Likes: eating meat, drinking tea, squatting and deadlifting - all the important things.
- Wants: more freedom to spend with family
- Willing to spend money on campaigns to test!
- Skills: Not particularly technical but like to write copy and design stuff (albeit VERY slowly!) and problem solve.
- Need: someone to moan and bounce ideas off and LAUNCH LAUNCH LAUNCH!

YOU:

- Looking for a business partner with a sense of humour (think dry british humour)
- Ideally London based if not UK based.
- Must have a few (5-6) campaigns under their belt (profitability not important)
- MUST be a problem solver
- Be able to create banners and landers relatively fast and understand tracking and optimisation
- Be able to spend at least 3-4 hours/day minimum 5 days a week. I'm willing to after a full day's work so you should too!
- Be willing to agree to spend £100-200/week testing in the form of a joint "pot". This is key if you're not interested in putting your money where your mouth is don't contact me (harsh but true).
- Can low bar squat at least body weight for 15 reps (joking but advantageous).

This isn't a mastermind this is to find a business partner.

If you're interested let me know via PM. I assume you'll be at STM london so we can meet up at some point and see if we are a good fit and won't kill each other.

As Zeno said I've got some good "entry-level" hustle but I want that to be £xx,xxx hustler, if you do too let me know.

Haha #1 important thing is some dry British humor.

I think your on the right track here.

I fly solo as an affiliate for the most part... BUT i prefer to have a partner to fill up our skillset and to increase motivation. IT HELPS A LOT!

The interest in this has been relatively low which I think is interesting.

Three thoughts:

1. This is a big decision, like getting married.

Just as you probably want to meet someone before deciding to get married (LOL), you probably want to meet any potential business partner and ideally work with him or her before deciding to partner up. Likewise, any potential business partner would probably be thinking the same thing, and as a result, you will probably get responses from the types of people you don't want, instead of the ones you do. http://berkonomics.com/?p=1890

2. There is no mention whatsoever in your "ad" in your original post about what's in it for your prospective partner.

This is not just about you. It has to be about your business partner as well. How will getting involved with you help him/her achieve success? Why would someone want or consider taking you on as a partner? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kevin-...b_5772294.html

3. The photo is pretty creepy

If someone doesn't know you, and just sees the photo, that will the lasting mental image the person will have of you. Is that what you really want? http://static5.businessinsider.com/i...rthy-study.jpg

This is not that different from AM campaign. The fact that it did not convert should give you clues and information about what you need to do much better in order to get to some quality conversions. By applying some fundamental principles of conversion marketing to this campaign, I am sure you can achieve much greater success in realising your goal.

I think the problem is that you are asking a lot from a business partner
but you..
- want more freedom to spend with family
- skills: Not particularly technical
- skills: write copy and design stuff (albeit VERY slowly)

You might have more success if you show your vigour, tenacity and relentless drive to make it work.
(yes I did put a u in vigour)

I would be happy to work with somebody but not with a 'tryer', only with a 'do even if it kills me' mindset.

just my 2c.
