Hey All - super basic question:
Seems as though, even though I'm starting out, mobile is the direction to go in, regardless of experience, simply because everything has been trending that way for some time. But thought I'd throw that question out ... should one get their feet wet in regular AM - or simply go straight to mobile? I DO understanding (from reading etc.) that they are very different ...but I simply want to go where the money is... so any advice one way or another would be great to hear.
Thanks!
F
The traffic sources, some ad types, some offer types, and user behaviour do change but affiliate marketing remains the same.
I don't think you need to focus on mobile or desktop specifically (many traffic types are cross-platform e.g. email, video, direct nav and even offers), but mobile is inarguably growing in volume and predominance, and allows you to get in front of the eyes of users in many more circumstances than desktop traffic.
TL: DR; yes, invest at least 50% of your time in mobile.
Thanks Z! Really helps to have clarification on this stuff...
