Im a complete beginner at affiliate marketing. But had a question for all the super affiliates out there. Hopefully this is right section to post in..
How, what , and when do you decide to give up on an angle...? And also how you determine to give up on an offer...?
This is what im really trying to figure out? Lets say you have an offer.. Does it make sense to keep working on angle after angle untill you figure out a campagin that works?
Or does it make sense that no matter what angle you do that offer will never take off...? Im just trying to figure out how do you guys go about determining this, so you dont waste precious time...?
Here's no simple answer.
All offers can work if the placement you run them on has the demo for that offer.
For example, let's say a new mobile app comes out, I will set it up on 5 sources that always do good for mobile apps, and run a $50 test on each, testing 10 angles at $5 per angle per banner size.
If after spending $50 and out of the 10 angles, none of them are -30% ROI or less, then that traffic source sucks.
If however, using my foolproof structure one, two, or three angles are close to break even, then I know this offer can work here - and I need to load up $50 more bucks, and optimize by best creatives and run multivariates and optimize out bad placements, etc based on the criteria that is suitable (ie offer payout x2 per placement, or whatever you comfortable with)
@iAmAttila are those 10 angles wildly different in terms of design or is it the same design with copy differences? Do you have landers in that initial $5 test?
Thanks!
