Hi,
I have three campaigns set up in POF for the same offer. They all use the same LP. How do I set this up correctly in Prosper?
1. Is Campaign URL the same since I am running the same offer?
2. For LP Code, I am just using the one generated from the first campaign setup as I only have one LP, is this correct?
3. Tracking Links are unique and generated for each campaign. I think this is straightforward.
4. What about pixel and postback URL's?
Thanks much for the help!
To follow up on my question, my tracking when set as specified above does not seem to work correctly... In Prosper, I only see data (clicks) in one of the campaigns even though in POF all three campaigns get clicks... Please help to set this up correctly!
1. If they are different campaigns - e.g. different login counts, or targeting, or countries, etc., you should split them at the campaign level in your tracking system as well, thus will generate campaign links for each one.
2. The LP code will only be placed once via the get LP code section, and you'll pick the same lander each time in the campaign setup section.
3. Yep.
4. Pass prosper202's numerical subid to the affiliate network by using the [[subid]] token in the offer URL, e.g. ...&s3=[[subid]]
Get the postback URL from the corresponding section in p202 and configure it at your network to send the value of s3 back to prosper, e.g. with ...subid=#s3#... in the postback.
Zeno,
Thanks much for your reply. Regarding #2, it looks like Prosper generate a unique LP code for each campaign even if the same LP used... Does it mean I have to create copies of the same LP for each campaign? There must be a way around this, I am pretty sure I am missing something. So, I set it up a few days ago just using one LP and using LP code generated for Campaign 1. Only this campaign ended up being tracked but not the other two.
Thanks
Not sure, been too long since I've used prosper.
This may very well be the case but it's not something to fuss over - just duplicate the lander several times in your hosting and put these into appropriately named folders...
E.g.
/c1/lp1.php
/c2/lp1.php
/c3/lp1.php
