Today i did some testing with my Avazu target links.

I get blank page with VPN testing...

The redirect hangs on http://appflood.go2cloud.org/aff_c?o...sub=8096539135 which just shows a blank page.

The offer is clearly brokered through Appflood.

It is a mobile app offer - it's Zero Launcher. Why not test it on a mobile device?

I just tested it on my Android phone and shock horror the link works fine and opens the app store on the device.

This is typical behaviour. Some networks will redirect non-mobile devices (and the wrong OS) to the desktop app store page, some won't.

If you are going to run app installs, at least run your tests through a mobile device, otherwise you are trying to understand and test platforms without even using them.

I have done some mobile testing too.
I run some chrome extensions that allow me to use the browser as for an Android or Ios phones.
The thing is, that even with Android activated and UK VPN, i get the same blank page.

And when i think of the last 30 hours where i had almost 900-1000 clicks and no conversions.. that does kind of making sense.

Im still getting blanks from my simulators...

This is emulating a mobile browser.

Key word: emulating, meaning to imitate.

This is for testing web pages that display differently to mobile devices and for systems that look at browser user-agent.

Your desktop does not have the app store application that your phone has and your desktop browser cannot handle market:// and similiar links.

If you want to test app store links, use a proper emulator (not a browser) such as Genymotion, or better yet use a real phone (and something like AirDroid to make copy/pasting links easier).
