hey guys,
whats your success rates like for scaling specifically mobile cpi campaigns to new traffic sources? i realised that new traffic sources can be very very different, for example
1. bids may be too high, im guessing maybe the traffic allows for higher payouts to work, while the previous traffic source i am on maybe did not allow higher payouts to work therefore leaving me as one of the highest bidders
2. traffic nature may be different, for example there is gaming traffic, adult traffic, streaming traffic, news traffic and they all think a little differently and respond differently to the ads
3. some traffic sources somehow... just dont convert???
what is the ending status? a whole tonne of campaigns each making $1-$5 daily? or maybe 5 campaigns each making $20 a day per traffic source? im trying to figure out whats the standard way of doing it, or is it that my angle is not strong enough. im currently having 90% of my campaigns doing $1-$5 daily and then maybe just 5% doing more than $10/day. is this normal?
I'm a little confused what your question is here?
Can you clarify what your definition of a campaign is?
One offer on one geo with an already working angle. And now trying to move to a different traffic source. For example pop ads to pop cash
Best way to scale games is to start by scaling to different geo's on the same traffic.
Sometimes a game will work only on one traffic source, other times it will work everywhere. It really depends on the game. Take your best geo and test the waters first. If you have 5 to 10 geo's working well you only need 2 or 3 traffic sources to build a decent campaign. MOST won't work.
BTW - I won't recommend pop traffic for games. The quality is super low - check with your AM if its allowed
