He's always got something very creative.

Sets himself apart from the rest by being different and being upfront - makes you like and trust him.

Watching this closely...

Looks fun... I'm trying to understand whats happening exactly though, is he just trying to build a group of marketers on Facebook that he'll have access to in the future?

He's probably launching a product.

He usually "distracts" you from what he's really trying to do. Breaks down your defenses. Most marketers have very big BS detectors and he cuts straight through that.

He definitely knows his stuff, down to the point of hiring a great designer to build a FB lander that has the same brand identity as Kern's "laid back" approach. Dope.

Not just about the fb page - launching a product.

The fb page actually ops you into his list

Then there is also a "free report" in return for your email (note if you decide to opt in you give me more chances of winning the bus

Here's the direct link though so you dont have to:
http://winfranksbus.com/crazy/thanks/triple.pdf

Looks like an old report to me.

So the usual - there will be a $1997 product at the end of it.

tijntijn putting his affiliate link on there lolololol.
It's a brilliant idea, it also apparently mails your entire contact list to learn more about it.

I can't stand Frank Kern. Some people just keep shoveling bullshit into the pit and for some reason new marketers think its a goddamn pool and keep swimming in it.

ninja edit: not to say this isn't a great idea. I would have done it if I had thought of it first. But he's still a scumbag.

I love kernel Kern. I worked close with him on some projects in my past marketing life. He Really is as laid back behind the scenes as he is in hes marketing videos.

If you follow Dan Kennedy close you will see he is the new Kennedy. Just to a different demographic. I think that's pretty cool as it works.

hmmm - i know the fb api inside out and i have not found a way to get your friends emails out of facebook. it used to be possible, but was hugely abused. facebook blocked this a while back,.

please share if you have seen that it does this!

it also not requesting authorisation to post on your friends walls - so i dont think that is it either.

the only thing it does is post to your own wall if you accept that permission.

07-27-2011 06:21 PM #13 z6marketing (Member)

Maybe it posts a wall message to let them know, or sends a PM on facebook to them all? I can't think of a legit way to do it but there's no reason to believe he's doing it in a legit way anyway.

07-27-2011 06:45 PM #14 tijn (Moderator)

ive looked and i cant find any evidence that it posted to my wall or send a msg - but - if there is a way i gotta find out cause it was a very profitable "feature"

There is 2 separate apps here on the fanpage.

First one just asks for email permission then forwards your facebook email to his optin script so it can send out the double opt in email.

Second app is to get more raffle tickets When you click share it asks for publish permission and then posts to your wall.

The wall post, referral link to get more tickets and the fb comments box is what drives it viral.

This will be interesting to see if his 2nd app gets banned for stream_publish permission and he needs to keep rotating it because technically this is not against tos but facebook doesn't like this kind of script lol

Also I bet the product launch will be this exact script. With some headline about how fast he built a massive list and you can to for only $199 a month lol

This is basically his spin on a viral rewards script.

the problem I have with this is they are saying its 100% viral and not spending anything on it.

Which is BS since I see the paid ads that link to the page.

I do like how he makes fun of everyone including himself.

LOL all the way to the bank.
