Account banned again. Need some help
Hey Guys,
I posted a few months ago about my ad account targeting German market linking to my viral news site. The notice I received back then was simply a violation against rules and my account being deactivated and couldn't be reinstated. My suspicion back then was that it had to do with scraped UIDs. They did eventually get back to me then saying it was b/c the site does not provide a good user experience b/c of it's an ad farm. In reality I ran 3 adsense ads, not too intrusive, very normal stuff.
I just opened a new ad account under my wife's name, but same address, IP, etc (I know stupid thing to do). Everything was fine for about two months, I stilled advertised the exact same .de domain. Then today same thing, account completely shut down.
What should I do from here? Open new clean account and not even advertise the same site again? Any recommendations would be great.
Thanks,
Max

Find another traffic provider, or sell the site and start over.

i think the bigger question is if running a viral site through promoted posts is a bannable offense.. Anyone else had that happen? This summer answers.com was everyone on NF then gone!

Good point and it's something I've been thinking about, too. Last time around when they banned me for promoting the same site they mentioned the recent clickbait press release and how that type of content is not a good user experience and therefore they can't reinstate my account.
The whole thing is just strange when you see tons of sites promoting the same content plus my organic fan site gets better reach than ever and hasn't been penalized whatsoever for promoting the same content for free.

That's exactly what I did, got two new accounts. Advertising same domain, same FB page, all through personal accounts tied to the old banned accounts. I know I'm breaking every possible "rule" here. I've gotten different opinions from folks who work with Facebook reps and they mentioned that using personal accounts and IP's tied to banned accounts may not be an issue depending on how much you spend.
Any thoughts on this? Also, would it be wise to simultaneously build out a new domain/FB page with same content to be ready in case they block those from promotions completely? Can they even do that?

I think you need to adapt. There is new status quo coming.

Yeah domain and IP's are mostly not an issue, but keep in mind they do blacklist domain sometimes. So yeah its wise to be ready with another domain loaded with all the contents you need.

With FB assume everything is banned. I mean EVERYTHING:
IP
Domains
Cookies
Browser
Etc.
Credit card
Is a royal pain in the arse.

Thanks, and yes that's pretty much what I've done right now. New site, IP, FB page are all ready to go should they blacklist my domain. So far, I was able to get another two months out of the new account w/ same IP/domain/fb page. Now w/ the 3rd account I've been ok for close to a week now. A friend of mine also mentioned that Facebook takes a closer look at your account only after hitting certain (~$50/day) spend thresholds. I'll try to have a couple accounts and limit each to less than $100/day.
