An "appetiser" noob wanders - more noob questions!
Hi all,
Ok, since now i have some more experience. I have run a number of campaigns (failed of course) and almost broke even to one of them.
For now i am going with Mobile and CPI.
Decisive and Avazu mostly but in general i can not spot great offer very often.
Some questions as i am moving on.
1. Which are the best Af Networks for mobile offers?
2. Im using the Appetiser, but i was thinking. Why we should go for <$1 offers? For example, for some of my campaigns if i had a higher payout i may have been profitable already. Or is it because, with higher payouts you get more expensive with traffic acquisition ?
3.Mobile and CPI is best for starters or more general for AMs? Im a technical gut (developer for 10 years). Should i stick with mobile ?
4. Should we go for offer our AM suggest, or try what we feel it may work. I was thinking that if AM suggest an offer to me and another 500 affiliates, the room get tighter by the minute.
5. Is the $15 per campaign mark a rule? I mean, sometimes some campaigns fail from the first 2-3 $ spent. Number do talk, you know. Or should we just keep with the recipe ?
Thank you all once again for the awesome community and help!
Amen!

Say for example sakes that you had 100 placements in your test. (Complete made up example o f the number of placements). You test one angle on those hundred placements. You want to spend anywhere from 3x-10x the offer payout for testing. Let's take the low end and test 3x the offer of a $.60 payout offer. You would spend .60 for each 100 placements. That would come out to a testing budget of $60.
Now, lets take the same example with an offer that pays out $15. $15 test for each 100 placements. You are now at a testing budget of $1500!
Now lets say you have 3 angles:
3 angles at 3x the payout of .60 offer on 100 placements - $180.
3 angles at 3x the payout of a $15 offer on 100 placements - $4500.
The smaller the payout, the smaller the testing budget is the point.
