Succeeding Or Going To Jail?
Hey Guys,
I thought I'd make this post before I introduced myself on the introduction part of the Forum for one Simple reason, I'm pumped and banking but I don't want to face Jail time.
For the first month it was a real up and down with this business, but for the last 2-3 months I've been expanding and I've been banking good for a begginner. To put it simple I average 1000$-2300$/day.
Sometimes I find it hard to concentrate, work and to stay positive when I have an annoying voice in the back of my head telling me that at some moment my account might get frozen and I'll be spending the next 3 years in Jail.
I'm 19 at the moment, and I don't have and don't seem to be able to find laser accurate information on what taxes I need to pay, and what crimes I have committed for not reporting anything to the finances for these months, atm I'm looking for a financial Lawyer but I thought this would be the perfect time to come and ask for your help since most of you are more familliar with this type of legalities.
I Live in Portugal, but even if you live in the US, where these laws may be different, I'd honestly appreciate all of your advice and history.
I'm not clear on who to trust around me, this is uncharted territory for me, I'd go all in and find it for myself but this is a very sensitive topic and I feel that doing it by myself might be a very foolish thing to do.
I'd be happy to pay for any input if you feel it is necessary.
P.S I'm extremely Excited to start sharing, building relations and growing to xx,xxx$/day with you guys!

I don't know about the tax laws of Portugal, but honestly I don't think anyone's going to jail for delaying something a couple of months.
Basically, I think you are a lot more worried than you need to be. Yes, you will need to sort things out and start making the proper filings and payments, but I highly doubt you are about to be locked up from what you've described.
Find a local tax attorney and/or accountant and get things on the up and up. You will be fine.
And CONGRATS on banking $x,xxx/day! Keep it up

Hey Confucius, Really appreciate the help.
this was something that I had some dificulties educatting myself through my contacts or through the Internet. I'm just on the process of finding a good tax attorney in my country to get things straight and hopefully create an offshore company so I can avoid having people stealing my income through taxes.
Thanks so much! hopefully I'll hear the same words very soon about reaching xx,xxx$/day! hehehe
Please let me know if I can do anything to help you.

1) Some people don't pay taxes for years and do go to jail - depending on the severity of it. Usually Jail time is for clear tax evasion.
2) Be VERY careful with anything offshore and make sure you have sought out solid financial advice from a reputable institution.
3) Congrats on banking 4 figure days

Don't bother with a tax lawyer, they will just charge a fortune for advice that you don't need right now. Find yourself a good accountant, ask friends/family and get recommendations.

Hi kondorkash and welcome!
First of all. NOTHING to worry about.
I've been in mess with taxes for ages in the past and the worse thing that can happen is pay a fine.
No jail time and no death penalty :P
As others suggested, you need a good accountant with knowledge on internet business and off shore and you are good to go!

Keep it up and feel free to contact me if i can help you in any way!

Hey kondorkash, I doubt you will even face jail for that.
Just go and talk to an accountant or tax consultant and they will give you accurate info.
Don't try to research it yourself online, you make good enough money to hire someone else to figure it out for you.
Better focus on what you do best ( making money ) than trying to figure tax stuff yourself.

Hey Solaris, thanks for the advice, interesting view. family doesn't do it for me, we are rarely on the same page and we don't really live in the same world, But I'll definitely try to find a reputable accountant asap.

Hey Bbrock32, thanks for the input, I'm really glad all the advice I got here was all congruent and positive.
I'll be working 24/7 from now on, just left school and I'm really pumped to start banking harder!
I'll be writting my introduction to the forum soon since I have not done so, thank you so much for the reply, I'm aiming to build a lot of powerful relationships and sharing a lot of stuff here.
Again, thanks to all of you

Haha i think you're blowing this out of proportion, unless the government in Portugal is a lot more serious than i thought.
Just hire a good well know tax lawyer and talk to them. They'll safetly tell you exactly what to do
Congrats on the big campaigns!
