Setting up Voluum to track Exoclick costs?
I got my Voluum tracking working with Exoclick but I am not sure how to set it up so Voluum tracks Exoclick's campaign cost aka 'Cost' Field (It's always 0).
I e-mailed Voluum and Exoclick support but both were not helpful to resolve this issue. Does anyone have this working? Tracking manually the cost/roi sucks..

If you bid CPC, you can simply go to your campaign settings in Voluum and set "Cost model" to CPC and set the CPC in the line below to your bid on Exoclick.
If you bid CPM, you won't be able to track costs properly because Voluum only tracks actual clicks that end up on your landing page and not each impression you receive from Exoclick (assuming you run banner campaigns). The best thing you can do is to just let the campaign run for a while, look up the effective CPC in your Exoclick stats and set it up like above, but using the CPC from the Exoclick stats instead of your actual CPM bid.
However, in both cases you won't get 100 % accurate cost data in Voluum (click discrepancy between Exo and Voluum etc.), so I'd suggest that you create a simple spreadsheet where you put in your daily costs from your Exoclick stats and your revenue from Voluum or, even better, directly from your affiliate network stats.
Another option is to use AdultAdsPro instead - http://adultadspro.com/ - which is fully integrated with your Exoclick account and in turn can pull actual cost data directly from Exoclick. Hit up Tom Fang (ffclogin on the forums) if you have any questions.

I am bidding CPM. I do use a simple spreadsheet right now; I just thought there was a better way to set it up. Your CPC from Exoclick stats idea can work as well I guess. Better than nothing.

If using CPM on
any traffic source you will really just have to go with an average (estimated) CPC at campaign start and modify over time.
Virtually no traffic sources can or will pass cost data in the URL. It's difficult technically and would also reveal very sensitive campaign information ("hey other advertisers, guess what, this banner on this placement costs this much money and I'm potentially making it work with this banner and offer... come at me!")

Folks! Chiming in here late - but this thread is exactly the topic I'm trying to get help with. Just started up with ExoClick, pulled in the auto-template for Voluum (which says it will automatically track costs) but when I go into Voluum my campaign #'s are way off.
Anyone found a work-around or way to fix this so you can now accurately pull in the spend from Exoclick into Voluum? Right now I'm just going back in and adjust Voluum after the fact and then manually putting in my CPMs. Thx!
