IDFA Variable?

Hey,

I have an exclusive offer with a client and they are asking that a IDFA variable needs to be passed back per install?

I am currently using Decisive, does any one know what and how to do this?

Thanks!

ubs usually pass this back as a Subid variable. But no idea what Decisive or other ad networks use?

It appears that Decisive uses the token {{{idfa}}} for this.

You'd need to set it as a custom variable in your tracking software, I believe.

(For reference, the IDFA is a device tracking number, used in devices running iOS 6 and later.)

@cloudf - trying to figure this out myself. My advertiser wants an IDFA passed back. I'm using Decisive running tracking through Voluum, do you have the basic formula here figured out on this? Thanks!

I think I figured it out. Once you've generated your Voluum URL, then you just add "&var3={{{idfa}}}" to your tracking URL. In Voluum I appended the following to my offer URL "&s3={var3}" to match that up with what's being passed from Decisive. Is anyone able to confirm that this would look accurate when using Voluum, Decisive and then passing the IDFA on to Cake in their s3 variable.
