Using Voluum for split-testing

Hey hey!

So, now that I've gotten a couple of landers live, my attention has moved into actually split-testing the most important stuff.

Traffic Junky, as an example, provides the possibility to rotate ads. How could I work with Voluum so that I would know which ad brought in the most visitors (and more importantly, which ad-lp combination creates the biggest CR in the back end)? Should I add some variable into the the traffic source url? Or is it better to create new campaign for every ad?

And also, let's say I'm running a campaign and I want to change the offer right in the middle of it.

Should I just add the offer into Voluum, and change the offer or create a totally new campaign for it?

Ah, never mind the first post. I just stumbled upon this one that explains it: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...=traffic+junky

Yes, tokens are what you would use in any situations involving dynamic behaviour at the traffic source.

You should change offers on the backend without changing the campaign and consequently the link at the traffic source. Being able to modify the backend without disrupting advertising is one of the most critical advantages that people use tracking systems for.
