Steps to collect data (mobile CPA)

Hi all

Based on my understanding, we actually set a budget for testing the campaigns.
I understand that we pay for collecting data if we don't profit from a campaign. Do you mind explaining or give me more details (illustrations) on how we collect datas?

You collect data by setting up a campaign using a tracker.
ex: STM Mobile Tracker

Free trackers are Ok, but it's better to use something like Voluum.

One word: Tracking.

You collect the data because you have to, otherwise you don't have a clue what's going on.

You should be familiar with, and comfortable using, a tracking system like Voluum/Thrive before you think about proceeding much further.

cool. I heard STM have free tracker right? Is it a good start using STMtracker?

The STM Tracker is perfectly good to start with.

However, newer trackers may be a bit easier to set up and get started with.

It's also worth noting that you'll need to buy the MaxMind GeoIPOrg database to start using the STM tracker, so you will have a small initial expense there.

I could add:
Before start spending big money try to find cheap traffic sources to test your landing page/s CTR and conversion rate - for example popup or under networks.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm thinking of following the steps provided in the mobile appetizer whcih is banner first.
As I'm very new in MOBILE CPA. Is there any group where newbies can start & work on their first campaign together?
