I would like to find out if there are a SOP for testing landers?
Is there a list of variables/guide we follow when testing or tools we use?
It's really up to you to build your own SOP.
Your tracking system is the first point of concern here. It should be doing the split testing between landers so you need to make sure that you are sorted on the technical front. Make sure landers load fast.
After that, I would first test large differences - completely different page designs.
Following that, image and headline variation come second.
Following that, smaller variations like social proof, security stickers, etc. These may have a big impact but are small in terms of design differences.
After that, well, lots to play with.
Thanks mate.
I've another question. How can i make a 35% ROI lander into 100%.
I've tested 6 angles and one angles was working with positive ROI. Hence i created near to 12 landers on various variations on that angle, however the highest ROI i could achieve was 35%.
What i have done:
tested 4 designs style and chose the top 2
tested 4 different headlines and chose the top 2
tested the top 2 with 2 diff images
tested the call to action text and color 2x
tested 2x variation body content
what can i do to make it better?
Test the back end instead.
The same offer from different networks.
Similar offers that can substitute for your current one.
Payout bumps.
Go direct.
Different advertiser landers.
Try collecting the email first and monetising them in a list afterward.
Lots of things you can do!
Thanks Zeno.
