Hi all,
Today i did start my 2nd campaign based on the "appetiser" method.
Here is the thing.
I forgot to enter the "$8" daily spend limit and here what happened in literally minutes.

All those clicks, but no conversions.
so i wonder!
1. Is that a quick test to check if an offer converts ?
2. Is it bad that all that traffic was not spread within a days period or so ?
3. What exactly happened and what should we all learned from it ?
Thank you for your valuable feedback in advance!

The problem with an non-throttled test like this is that rogue placements that don't provide very good traffic can soak up much of the budget.
1. Just because you get clicks to an offer doesn't guarantee conversions so a quick test with no optimisation is not the greatest for gauging offer quality. A good offer should convert someone, sure, but not if the traffic is crap, accidental or has a hefty % of bots in it.
2. Yes. Bursting traffic in a specific hour of the day is a surefire way to get biased data.
3. Well, we won't learn much, but you will certainly make sure daily budgets are in place in the future! Everyone does this, even people with 10 years experience... it just happens. Checklists are your friend.
