about the mobile carriers and devices tracking

Hi ALL:

after regester EXOCLICK.

I have some question:

in the EXO, there are lots of carriers and devices

and tracking params that they offer do not cantain the carriers and devices

so now, if I want to track carriers or devices, I have to set one campaign for one carriers or devices.

for example : campaignname_devices.

but there are too many kinds of carriers and devices.

do you have any ways to quickly track and check out the right carriers or devices?

what tracker are you using. If you are using Voluum then you can track carriers and devices easily.

Simple: use a tracker and then use that data to make decisions at the traffic source end.

you mean: (if my understanding was wrong, plz point me out,)

tracking url : sourceurl?c1={devices}

but the EXO has no dynamic param for {devices}, just set a static, for example:sourceurl?c1=htc

in this way, I need build lots of campaign (one campaign for one device) to test.

after all test done, the profit device can be found out. .........

if there is a dynamic param for {devices}, just one tracking url for all devices......... it will be easyer..

I will try Voluum

but, carriers and devices are the params transfer from the traffic source
now the EXO don not have these params, how can volumm fix this problem?

Incorrect.

Detecting device type, OS, carrier and so on is not something only traffic sources can do.

Think about it. How do we figure out a user's country? We have a GeoIP database that matches their IP to countries.

The same is true for devices, OS, etc. although these may also use information other than IPs, such as the user-agent the person has.

All trackers with any practicality these days can detect your device, carrier, and so on regardless of where the traffic came from.
