I am new to pay per call and just set up my first campaign. I am using text only display advertisement with click to call (advertising.com) and have gotten 400+ clicks recorded but 0 calls shown in ringparter. I thought it was because I didn't add the 1 in front of the number but after I added that and allowed another 50+ clicks I still have no calls showing. I have confirmed that the number is correct but there is no option to preview the clickable add to test.
Is it possible that 400+ people clicked on it but then declined calling the number when the pop-up came? (Also 300+ were from iPhones)
Thanks in advance for any help.
It seems more likely that you have a technical issue somewhere.
You should pause this campaign and troubleshoot.
Thanks for the reply. I paused the campaign and confirmed that the number is working and that ad matches.
I also ran a facebook ad with a different number and that had 15 mobile "clicks to website" which I had set up to automatically ask to dial when clicked and that is showing zero calls (I clicked in the ad preview to confirm number works and when I clicked it is showing as a single call in ringpartner). At least for the facebook ad is seems that they are declining to the 100% of the time.
I will look further into the display ad and see if it is a formatting issue with the number or something else.
How did you set it to automatically dial exactly?
Sorry Mike, haven't been able to call you. I think the two images below will explain my set upfor AOL and Facebook.
zeno - I have included the code for the Facebook ad link page in the second image.
Thanks again for your help. (Just noticed a typo in the lander text in image 1 but I don't think any traffic was sent there anyway)

I see one call on each campaign in our reporting. Not sure if those are test calls or not.
I don't see anything technically wrong with your set up. I'm not overly familiar with AOL and it's been a while since I've ran FB ads. But, everything looks to be set up correctly to drive calls.
I am wondering if your targeting is off. I see you're running RON on AOL and I wonder if it's just too un-targeted. Motorcycle Insurance is pretty specific, not everyone has a motorcycle and not everyone that does needs insurance. So, I wonder if you're getting un-targeted clicks from people who are curious about why they're seeing that ad?
What's your targeting on FB? Demographics? What's the angle here?
Motorcycle insurance is a niche, within a niche. I'd say it lends itself better to search traffic, and even with search traffic I'd include an IVR option for car insurance too.
For more general traffic I would try something that more suited for a general audience, like psychic, Livelinks, education, etc. Even health insurance would be good right now, with open enrollment coming up.
Hit me up on Skype and I'll try to help you figure this out.
