How do you track your stuffz???

Hi Stackers, it has been a couple of weeks that i have been away from the forum. As the J.O.B has been killing me time, putting 18 hours a day on average leaving me time to basically sleep. Hopefully the next week would be better. Anyhow hopefully this wont last long.

The question for everyone is the following: How do you track your stuff, or do you even track it. Do you create mind maps and flowcharts. Lately i have been hooked on flowcharts. For example i am moving to mobile and i am spending some time designing how everything would flow and i am trying to capture as much detail as possible. By the way i am using Google Drive for this, and I think it has enough pluggings and stuff that you can add to it and most of them are free.

I would like to know, and i am sure others would too. If you track your projects, how much do you track, how and what software you use to track it.
I think this is a very important aspect of what we it would be great if the big boys could jump in and give some advice to us newbies

Looking forward to kindz of answers.

I use a free mind mapping programme called xmind, it's totally transformed my life. Got so many things going on, its impossible to keep it all fresh in my mind. Find if I map it out, it's easy to see how everything links together and how much progress has been made. The actual process of putting it all down on paper helps structure my thinking a bit also.

I am also finding my productivity and level or organization getting more clear with this. As i am still new to this and the layout of campaigns and such can be so daunting when you first read a guide. But when you spend a couple of hours putting a flowchart on how everything flows and you see it all at once then things become much more clear for me.
I will start printing those diagrams and will start using them as templates to start tracking my new campaigns I think it will work out well.
