Hello !
Ok so after reading a bunch I guess Im a little confused should I get a traffic source first or an offer first ?
Which factors is used to decide ?
You need both
Traffic source is where you buy traffic.
Offer is the item you promote to make money.
So you buy ads on a traffic source, and you send it to your offer's landing page - if someone buys it, signs up, or opts in you get paid for that conversion.
Thanks, what I mean is do I look for an offer first or I choose a traffic source first ? Since I never ran mobile offers I have no idea which traffic source is better for which kind of offer etc..
Generally the way I do it is find a good traffic source first and then try to find matching offers.
If you are starting out you could start on POF or Decisive.
Thanks for the reply, I read that its better to start with a DSP platform for traffic when starting, do you think its better to just use a specific one like you mentioned Decisive ?
Thought about mmedia and/or plugrush to start. I know there is probably no perfect resonse but its really preventing me to move forward..
Like the guide says I want to start with 2nd tier country if not 3rd but Im not sure how to select a specific source for that.. that have tons of traffic for these geos. ex: asian, latam
Any tips ?
@amaranthe - this is probably a day late and a dollar short but DSP is probably not wise as a newbie b/c there's more variables to learn to master. Starting with POF or Decisive is much easier and better, at this stage you're priority should be getting data and learning.
