I'm worried that I am overhyping the offer and turning away people who would have been receptive to download the free app install.
If I am not overhyping then I am wondering if there is an issue between my landing pages and angles.
A fair amount of people click through my landing page but few convert on the offer. The offer is on the google play store and is a free app install. I am not sure why such a low percentage of people follow through? I am thinking that I am overhyping things. Can this be the case? My banner has a CTR of 4-6%.

Is there any thing wrong with my stats or are these numbers similar for mobile app installs?
Looks pretty normal to me.
As always you'll just need to heavily split test angles (both in your banners and LP).
Furthermore, consider what your offer is and how many people have installed it already.
For instance if it's CleanMaster then it already has between 100 and 500 million installs, so good luck converting people in geos like the US.
but those ctr on the landing pages suck balls man..... Just from the data you showed its as if your banners seem to have almost nothing to do with your offer/LP...
With those LP CTR its almost like your banner is a porno ad but the LP talks about accounting SW.....
You need to see that the funnel aligns with the messaging or intent of the banners
@karim0028 - Pretty much you guessed it. I just threw up a really hot girl next to the app logo cause I saw that it boosted banner CTR. But Trying to get the LP to convert was a whole other deal... Once I somehow made the LP tie in hot girls/porn with the software... the LP CTR went up, but the still CR sucked balls.
