Need advice from someone who's dealt a lot with SMS traffic. If there's anyone out there who's done it a lot, please PM me.
I've acquired quite large lists lately containing mobile numbers in carefully picked countries. I need advice on
-what SMS service provider to use that wont ask too many questions and can send cheap bulk SMS messages in INTL countries to the numbers i supply.
-what i might get in trouble for, what countries to stay out of, what kind of optin i need to have first to make it ~legal
-Any tips regarding this type of traffic that might save me from falling into a pit.
Note: It's not my own offer i'm looking to set up, but rather to send relevant (or not) offers to users who's given me their mobile PIN...

Be very careful with this. The penalties in many countries for breaking the law with SMS marketing can be really harsh. Jail time's a possibility.

I would obviously stay out of the US. I'm in Europe, and was thinking about running it in countries like MY, ID, TH, MX, SG etc... Countries quite far from my backyard.
Can it be made legal with the properly worded ToS ticked box?

I'm not well-versed on the legislation but I would find it and read it myself to be sure - don't rely on a forum comment when you could face millions in fines, as other companies have before.
Not sure how it is in various countries but if you are in Europe and paying for some service that operates in MX, it might find it's way back to you regardless of being on the other side of the planet.

In the mean time if anyone knows any incognito SMS service providers, I'm all ears!
