A Little About Myself
I've been involved in the affiliasphere for about a year, and more so in the past 6 months. I started off on PoF, but eventually got frustrated due to the lack of volume. I've been experimenting with adult traffic for a little over 2 months now and I'm more or less breaking even. I work 8:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday so most of my work will be in the evenings.


Goal
The goal of this group is for everyone to become $100/day affiliates by the end of November, $300-$500/day affiliates by January while creating a formula for the processes of how to build profitable campaigns via google docs that we will all perfect so that we can achieve the $1000 and beyond days that I'm sure people like myself crave.

This mastermind is going to be comprised of people like myself. People who have got their feet wet, have a general idea of how things work, but are on the edge of making decent money. We're going to work together to rise up out of "Affiliate Hell", as Charles Ngo puts it.


Come January we'll meet up at Affiliate Summit West and celebrate our success


The Mastermind

We'll focus on adult desktop in the US on Exoclick

I'm looking for 6-8 people, depending on the caliber of affiliates that show interest

As awesome as I'm sure you all are, I'm in this to make money, and improve on myself before I make friends. If you miss a call you'll be assigned a yellow card. If you miss a second call you'll be assigned a red card and kicked out of the group.

We'll have a meeting once a week via Skype, each week a chairmen will be assigned to schedule the meeting and be in charge of creating a list of the topics to be discussed. Along with a chairmen being assigned each week, they're will also be a time keeper assigned in charge of documenting every important topic discussed so that the group can refer to the topics later.

Requirements
Your own VPS
Tracking
Ability to rip and edit Landing pages (Ability to make custom landing pages is a plus as it will benefit the group greatly)
Ability to create Banners
At least $200 spent on an adult traffic source
Picture of at least $200 spent on an adult traffic source
A budget of at least $50/day that can be spent testing.
Based in the US
Able to make the meeting every week
Microphone

I think 50 $ per day for usa it's low. I spent 500 per day for usa and still was too low for the volume of traffic...

also USA is a tough cookie to crack. id recommend somewhere a bit easier to jump in for the inexperienced like Europe

Change to $50/day spent on testing. If I find a profitable campaign I'm going to pump all my money into it

I've thought about that also. This is something that we can decide as a group if we feel like USA isn't working out for us.

Hey Bitta Warrior, Thanks for taking the initiative. A+ for organization! I'd like to join your mastermind. With the $50-$100/day budget, I'd prefer to go with a 2nd tier English speaking country so we can get more data, but we can try the U.S. first.

Damn, I answered yes to all questions until the "Based in the US" requirement. I think this is a great initative, so I'm sorry, I can't join But I wish you guys the best of luck and hope you will concider a European member someday

I would try something outside of US as well, with a few minds you can take over a GEO or obscure placement on a relatively unsaturated source, the growth will be very quick. Being profitable in the US seems to mostly come down to really great relationships whether it be cheaper traffic or higher rates on offers

in terms of picking a good country to start, there's always been about 25-30 with geo targeted offers available. (actually ive noticed some new countries have come into the game)

I had a feeling about people only being able to make it in the US due to higher rates on offers.

What do you guys think about the idea of targeting lower traffic traffic sources that don't get enough traffic for the big boys to want to mess with and dominating those?

Smart affiliates will scale working campaigns horizontally to low traffic/competition sources for the easy ROI so don't count on finding many undiscovered sources.

What made the mastermind break down? Lack of focus? People not contributing? Poor organisation?

Probably lack of focus and people not contributing. By week 2 no one was really communicating in the skype group and come an hour before our 2nd call 2 of the guys told me they had to quit the group.

Also I feel like the decision for our first group camps to be in the Netherlands was a huge mistake due to Advidi being from there. I did find a couple dedicated guys though, so I think we'll end up masterminding instead.

Right right, yep lack of focus is going to be the #1 killer of masterminds.
