San Francisco Meetup

Hey everyone, was wondering if there was anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area... Newbie, no, Just new to Affiliate Marketing. Have been running several Ads and built my business Derby of San Francisco on my own and a friend of mine introduced me to CPA, CPI, etc, Marketing. I now have a general Idea down of a few things and looking to meet new people who are into this.
Not to sure what you would do at a meetup or how one works but hey, there is a time for a first time. I would be into meeting and picking up the tab at a restaurant or bar or whatever.

I also would be open to a few people who know the basics and "Focus On The Fundamentals" and would show or train me in the basics. The take? I have money, I would commit $3,000 - $5,000 to run ads with a group of people and split with you all the profits. If we lose we lose.

Either way, this is one of my firsts posts so don't bite my head off if I am saying something wrong.

Hey Victor!

It's definitely a good idea, to meet up with local like minded affiliates. Your offer is great too. If I were you I would start an SF Skype group just to get initial introductions out of the way, and get a better idea of interest and a plan of attack.

Also, I'm not sure if you are planning to go but affiliate summit west is in Vegas Jan 18th. It's the biggest affiliate conference out there, and it's one hour flight from you. I would buy a networking pass and check it out. STM will mostly have a meet up there too.

I saw this and thought I'd reach out. I run AppFlood's US office, and we're based in San Francisco. We'd love to help you with your meetup - in fact we'd be happy to pick up the tab for your evening of learning. The affiliate space is not as active as you'd think in SF, but we'd love to make it better. DM me and we can work out some details!

Vegas brings out all the affiliates.. since it's vegas. So attend every meetup and party you can, there's a lot to learn just from talking to people.

I'm located in the South Bay (San Jose), and I'd be interested in coming up to SF for a regular get together. AppFlood's offer is very generous. Did you work something out?

We were and are totally open to this, but it didn't seem to gain much traction. If we get enough interest on this thread I'm happy to run with it - chime in you'd be up for a dinner and learning kind of thing!

Wow, awesome! But really can't believe I missed this meetup!
