Servers for Mobile

Hey bros,

I am new to AM but getting into mobile marketing and have heard different things from different people. Some of my associates tell me that for mobile speed matters a lot so a dedicated server is highly recommended but I find it quite pricy.

I have also heard that a normal VPS server from "Beyond Hosting" or similar is sufficient enough.

What are your takes on it? Which server do you think I should get?

Thanks in advance bros!

A dedicated server is an overzealous investment if you are just starting out.

If you have some experience with and can manage servers, then I would use a Linode/Ramnode/DigitalOcean VPS.

If you have virtually no experience, go with BeyondHosting.

You should first consider your tracking setup though. Are you going to use a self-hosted tracker? Or something like Voluum? What is the purpose of your server? These days if you are using HTML-only landers, you can do well just using Voluum and a CDN - no server needed.

But, if you want a VPS for testing things and using PHP code, the BeyondHosting Starter VPS would make sense.
