Hello all !
After watching tons of course on mobile and cpa I realized I didnt know exactly what my AM could or couldnt do for me..
I know you can ask for like best offers by conversion, epc and he will do that but when I asks for more info I get a " I wouldnt know" answer..
Exemple: I asked what type of offer converts better with which traffic source.. he doesn't know..
Am I asking too much since Im new and havent brought the $$ yet ?
Well there could be a few things going on
a) The quality of your manage. If he doesn't know, then well...he doesn't know. You're randomly assigned an affiliate manager while more experienced guys, we know who the best are, and will asked to get transferred to them.
b) You haven't brought in any value.
Lets say they have a traffic source hook up. They're going to hook up the guys who they know will send traffic, AND keep traffic loyal to that network. If they give those secrets to an unproven guy like you, then maybe you'd make it work then take the offer somewhere else.
You have to build relationships. Go to conferences and meet them. Some of my guys I've known for over half a decade. I've been to their houses and eaten with their families. In all businesses, networking is important.
As far as how much information they know. Chances are they DO know, but that would mean betraying their top affiliates. Imagine if you were making a lot of money on a particular offer, would you like it if they told everyone to jump on it?
^^ great answer
I would add that if you can't afford a very good A.M. at first because you're a fresh affiliate,
there's a very specific question that every A.M. can (and should) answer and that you can ask
(either when you randomly choose an offer or when the A.M. push an offer to you):
Is this offer already working for someone else? Or no one is running it right now?
Until you get more experienced, try to avoid offers that nobody is running..
Thanks for the honest answers guys, yes Im pretty fresh so I will have to just start on my own looking at best offers by volume.
yup, have 100% focus on getting a winning campaign
