free version of voluum

Hi All,

some advice about Voluum please.

I am looking to move my hosting to BH starter pack, however this does not fully support STM modded p202 (which I currently use)

Therefore looking to go to Voluum: Is the free package enough for me to test out some campaigns with a view of going paid a little down the line?

just don't want to commit $99 per month just yet (appreciate that I will probably end up doing this as voluum has a good rep on here)

thanks Dario, I did come accross this thread in my searched.

I noted Zeno stated "wouldn't worry about the custom domain. It's not really important unless a traffic source for whatever reason blacklists *.trackvoluum.com, which would be overzealous.

For your current situation, go with Voluum."

which is fine, I take it that this would suffice, when I see results I can switch over

thanks

Yup, if you are trying to minimise costs, and particularly if you're not so fluent with servers, the free Voluum plan is unequivocally the best solution.

At the zero-cost level it is hard to beat because you get the geographic load-balancing which is absolutely crucial when it comes to reducing click loss and starting with a good tracking infrastructure.

You can do just as well with self-hosted systems - but you won't be able to cover the globe at zero initial or ongoing cost.
