Ads for Casino/Gambling? (2)
Hi,
I've been running dating and adult traffic for years now and feel like I have a pretty good understanding of all the different areas when it comes to making money on dating, both on facebook and adult traffic.
However, I recently got a pretty interesting offer from one of the biggest Casino companies in Europe - high rev. share and detailed tracking.
So I thought I should try it out. Do some casino traffic for a change.
I have done some research, but it seems like it's not to many affiliates running casino/gambling? At least i have som trouble finding good info/guides on the topic. I found only one good one: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...t=guide+casino
But I already have a great deal, so my biggest questions would be regarding ads and LPs.
When I look at different spy-tools, all the ads look very professional - nothing like the ones we see in adult or other niches. It also seems like all the ads are run by the gambling companies themselves.
So my question are: Are there any affiliates running casino/gambling traffic? And if so, I would love to get in contact with you.
If not, do you know any guides regarding this subject? I'm mostly curious about what kind of ads and LPs to use. I have done some testing, adult-like ads VS "professional" casino ads from spytools - and the professional have won every time. Both CTR% and CV%.
I will probably run the most traffic on adult networks like exoclick, trafficforce, ero etc. Not only adult traffic though.
Any info regarding casino ads/LPs would be very much appreciated.

most of the gambling operators as a rule prefer that affiliates run their own adverts (not always the case but for the large brands like Bet365, Bwin, Hills etc...) Most of the time, companies such as the latter will do massive research themselves and split test the banners, so the creative that you can get on them is usually pretty good as well as tested for conversion.
If there is something that you specifically want, i.e. co branded and you are working with a larger brand, speak with your AM as they have creative departments that within reason will make things for you - if you have sent hem traffic in the past, there is a possibility they will even make landers for you 
With regards to the high revshare and detailed tracking. The main operators in EU are running on either Mexos, Netrefer or Income access. To be very blunt, none of the tracking systems are as good as the likes of prosper (modded STM version) or
If you are running media buys, I would if I was you, ask for a hybrid deal or a straight CPA deal. You could probably get in the region of 20% + $100 (hybrid) or $250/$300 for the straight CPA. If there is a baseline then ask that it is cumulative (depending on the system they are running; netrefer and income access can handle this). There advantage of the revenue share is that you have the possibility to hit a whale, which I have seen happen a few times, and in the long run the earnings are cumulative, but unless you have no neg on your account (again unlikely) there is a chance you could spank your media spend into oblivion, the hybrid guarantees you the benefit of the revshare, and the CPA guarantees that you have the money at the end of the month to be able to keep sending traffic.
With regards to where you are running (adult/non) again, this depends on which country, for example, in the UK there is new licensing coming into effect that states gambling can't be advertised on 'undesirable sites' i.e. those showing drugs, super hard porn etc... So if that is your market tread with caution as the main operators are not going to be too pleased if you are violating this.
